Restaurant in the heart of Val d'Orcia
A land of beauty and emotions even at table
Eating well in Tuscany is not difficult. In this corner of the world even less. Our neighbors produce pecorino, "live" flour, legumes with a surprising taste. We will take care of the rest with our wild herbs, the vegetables from our garden, the skilled hands of our chefs and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil we produce.
A Love called "Extravergine"
We want to enhance "virgin” flavors or we can say.. "extravirgin"! . Mother nature helps us with its raw fruits and vegetables. Our Cuisine is simple and use only local products. Our most important ingredient: Extra-virgin olive oil of Famiglia Magri, from our fields.
Extravergine is the ideal place for delicious "Tuscan" lunches and snacks when you return to a horseback ride, smart lunch during meetings and team building, refined aperitifs and refined country dinners of the past, those of the home dining room. Extravergine is also a place of conviviality and sociability with the outdoor Lounge Bar area, at the restaurant terrace with view . A natural terrace on the Val d'Orcia will welcome you during the summer evenings for aperitifs while waiting for incredible sunsets.
Our Haute Cuisine
Simplicity, "frankness" of flavors, as our chef likes to say about his dishes. Ours is a research for a cuisine with ancient and never forgotten flavors. We try to respect ancient Tuscany cooking. The extra virgin olive oil that is produced within the estate and it is emphasized in our kitchen with a full menu from aperitif to dessert.
Our Haute Celler
Our wine list cannot be separated from the territory, so important and rich in proposals. An excellent wine cellar that puts the accent on a concept of sharing and "vision" but of course the inevitable agreement with the dishes offered by our kitchen. The proposals are not obvious, a careful research with respect to those that are the labels less known to the general public, but of great consideration among the lovers of "drinking well" and "good drinking".
Our Happy Garden
Behind the restaurant, a small "happy" vegetable garden is our shop always open for us The good herbs: Dishes prepared with seasonal wild herbs found in the fields around us and use of aromatic herbs as an indispensable element to give perfume to our dishes. Herbs picked at the moment in our garden, during the service, give a fresh and aromatic touch that change the perception of our dishes.
